Reduce the size of your family!
by Marvin Shilmer inthe watchtower organization resists the idea that its workforce is comprised of employees.
instead it promotes the idea that these individuals comprise a family.
yet recently there is a directive that smacks a totalitarian tendency.

The sweeps and reductions in size are always related to the biggest enemy that every organization faces - treason.
The Watchtower organization is not in a position to change human nature.
Odds are practically 100% that more than a few "family" members experiencing the "reduction" will end up really, really pissed off, which will inevitably lead to all sorts of revelations about what goes on in Watchtower's inner bowels. One day we'll be reading minutes of GB meetings. I can see it coming. Even those who survive the family size reduction will be left unnerved.

Mob bosses take better care of their extended families.
I hadn't thought of mobs usage of "family" to depict the relationship of its workforce. From time to time a mob family does decide to reduce its size. It tends to get messy. I suppose it's another manifestation of the times. You know, "no natural affection" and all that stuff.

The longest minute?
by Simon inwhich is longer, a treadmill minute or a microwave minute?.
... or every minute of every thursday meeting when you wanted to get back home in time to see red dwarf and some elder who loved the sound of his own voice had the mic..

Tough question!
A treadmill minute is a bit sporadic. It's shorter when I've got Gimme Back My Bullets going in the headset and longer when I'm looking at the calorie counter. Make no mistake about the mystical affect of a good Lynyrd Skynyrd toon. Led Zepplin tends to have the same effect.
A microwave minute is a little more consist. It's shorter when I'm trying to wiz in the washroom before my wife starts asking what I'm nuking (usually something she had her mind set on) and longer when i'm thinking about my own hunger, but this difference is not very great because in each case I'm anxious to eat. Only in one case I'm distracted in attempt to quickly relieve the bladder. -

The Watchtower organization resists the idea that its workforce is comprised of employees. Instead it promotes the idea that these individuals comprise a family. Yet recently there is a directive that smacks a Totalitarian tendency. The family has been asked to reduce itself. Pretty tough choice!!!
See: Reduce the size of your family!
My best guess is this request will lead to more than a few disenchanted individuals who realize they've been removed from the family by their former family members. So much for sharing the hardship as a firmly resolved and unified family. The family unit has been asked to reduce itself!

Belief isn't who or what you are. It is a coat you chose to wear ... and should be discarded when it's worn out and people start laughing at it.
I think each of the three assertions above are true sometimes but not all of the time.

Apparently Viv killed Laura Palmer.
I always thought you were probably the one. It all makes sense now.

Mrs. Eden says I’m silly to leave,
Then stop being silly and stay. Having you here makes it a better place. Right?

Correction: didn't do what you wanted which you were unclear about and didn't give me time. The world doesn't revolve around you the instant you snap your fingers. Sometimes I have other things to deal with than your issues but you couldn't be patient.
That's well said, and understandable. For whatever it's worth, there are instances known to my when Simon and/or wife have acted very promptly to tidy up matters when there were immediate and very real threats posed here to members. When this is possible their reactions show they are concerned for everyone's well being. But, as Simon says, some things take some time and members here have to understand that. We must also understand that how we see things may not be how others see the same things.

I wonder if Simon and Vivianne are one and the same person?
Highly unlikely, for a host of reasons.
